“Risks”

The Fund may have investments that appreciate or decrease significantly in value over short periods of time. Transactions involving derivatives may give rise to leverage, causing the Fund to be more volatile than if it had not been leveraged. While the Funds do not currently do so, a Fund may invest in Exchange Traded Products (“ETPs”) such as ETFs. By investing in an ETF, the Fund would bear its proportionate share of the fees and expenses of the ETF and the risks of the strategy(s) that the ETF employs. Some of the Funds may short derivatives contracts and will lose value if the derivative instrument that is the subject of a short transaction increases in value.

An equity alternative investment refers to an investment with a standard deviation and volatility over time that is somewhat similar to that of equity markets. Crisis alpha capture refers to outperformance in the context of a crisis in the equity markets that involves a large trend up in volatility.

The S&P 500 Index is a market value-weighted index representing the performance of 500 widely held, publicly traded large capitalization companies. The FTSE 3-Month U.S T-Bill Index is an unmanaged index representing monthly return equivalents of yield averages of the last 3-month Treasury Bill issues. One cannot invest directly in an index.
